Post subject:  67 Vent window molding

Hi all
Just wondering if anyone has removed the chrome trim on the rear of the vent window frame? (see pic) I have searched online for an exploded view or a pic of a new molding with no luck. I do realize the frame has to be removed from the door...
Any help is much appreciated :beers:

Not sure you can...
From what i remember when taking the 67 apart, the whole frame was in one piece. Seemed welded/pressed/riveted together.
I also looked through the "Body by Fisher" and the "Factory assembly instruction manual" without any luck.
On the other hand - there are a lot of skilled mechanics out there that might have solved the problem!

It is one piece - may end up doing the same thing (repairing/replacing). I have a restoration manual at home ... will look it up over the weekend and post details if I find something.

What color is your 67? Look very similar to mine (Nantucket Blue)
