The first thing you need is a garden sprayer. I bought mine at Menards for about $9

I also got a $5 air pressure guage, drilled a hole for it, added an o-ring and screwed it in place with a brass nut on the back side.bleeder_003

No leaks and on to the next step. Remove the wand after the switch,

add a Watts # A-732 pipe coupling, screw on a Watts A-96 hose barb adapter. Push on some wtts svfd10 5/16 clear tubing. Get the cap appropriate for your brake system. Our Firstgens have a cap with a rubber gasket that has an air gap behind it. That way as the fluid level drops over time there is no vacuum to suck air into the system. bleeder_005

If you have more modern brakes the cap has either a small hole or a groove to allow air in and prevent the vaccum problem. You need to seal that with some kind of sealer. I used form a gasket from Permatex. Dill a hole in the cap to accept the barb appropriate for the tubing  you bought. Add some o-rings or rubber gaskets to each side and you are done.bleeder_007

When I get a decent weekend day I'll show you all how it works.
